Nature Reborn - A WholeGarment Sustainable Collection

The prestigious international stage dedicated to the knitwear yarn sector, Pitti Immagine Filati 2024 - ed. 94, has recently concluded its edition, opening the doors to a significant showcase of creativity and innovation.

During this globally resonant event, MIC Spa and Shima Seiki Italia celebrated their sixth consecutive collaboration, proudly presenting the new capsule collection titled Nature Reborn - A WholeGarment Sustainable Collection, with keywords including WholeGarment, responsibility, and wearability, signed by the talented designer Vittorio Branchizio.

The collection, consisting of 8 distinctive outfits, symbolizes the fusion of Branchizio's creative skill, deep knowledge of materials, cutting-edge technology from SSI, and the use of innovative and high-quality technical yarns offered by MIC Spa. This synergy between style, research, and advanced technical capabilities has given life to garments created with the WholeGarment technique. The WholeGarment technology enables the production of seamless complete garments, using machinery that directly creates the final shape in a single piece. The result is a new and curated elegance that embraces innovation and sustainability.

Nature Reborn stands out for the use of natural materials and highly performing technical yarns, maintaining a strong commitment to sustainable development in a context of radical change involving the entire production chain. The garments in the collection embody the philosophy of responsible fashion, offering a perspective of sustainable elegance.

A key aspect of this capsule collection was the collaboration between SSI and the trusted partner MIC spa - Manifattura Italiana Cucirini. We significantly contributed to the collection's success by providing our flagship yarns, EXTÉ 2.7 SOFT, an Italian-made knitting yarn (EA+PA) with exceptional elastic and recovery properties, used in six of the outfits, imparting elasticity, color, and compactness to the garments, and STR 360, a high-strength, single-covered, semi-transparent yarn used to create suggestive transparency effects.

Participating in Pitti Immagine Filati was a unique opportunity to present the result of this successful collaboration to the international audience, highlighting MIC Spa's consistent commitment to innovation, sustainability, and excellence in the production of sewing, embroidery, and knitting yarns.
